The log viewer has the same functionality as the Live-logger, but adds a few more features in the right click menu.
Press the above button, browse and select the log-file to be viewed from your computer.
Click the Download logs... button, a new dialog will pop up. Select the log you want to download, press download selected (or use other buttons for different operations).
The open file when done, will first download, then automatically open this in the log viewer.
The right click menu in the log viewer.
By clicking (left mouse button) anywhere in the logger area while holding SHIFT button, sets start position. The secondary click while holding SHIFT, set end position. Right clicking on the selected area enables this new menu with options for the selected area.
When an selection is made, hover the mouse over a value, current value will be visible as the min, max and average value.
Select engine data values by adding them using the check boxes.
Note: Everything is always logged when the live-logger is running, and this options brings a new windows with available channels to show, which means you can show values after a dyno-pull even if it was not visible during the run.
Change scaling, color for common channels used instead of auto coloring/scaling.
Used to save or load different presets with already configured RealTime Data values to be in the log-file. Available for tuners who tune a lot of different cars and want to speed up the tuning process instead of manually change values to been seen before each dyno session.

The set time reference can be used to mark launch position, for easy comparison with a different run, as an example. All options are in the right click menu.
Optionally you can enter timeslip data, to be automatically marked in the logger for easier readings of the log. Right click on the launch position in the log and select Time reference, set time reference 0.
Note: Either time after launch or engine runtime must be logged to ensure this feature.
Easy to add/remove plot areas by right clicking on the live-logger.
The compare to another log-file feature is very handy when comparing logs, if you set the Time reference, it will automatically sync their position, if you want to tweak the positions, hold CTRL button and use arrow left/right keys to move the overlaying log-file.
When selected, the log viewer windows is always on top over the main MTune window.
When moving around in the log viewer, a red cursor position marker is always visible in the selected table to show position, based on the actual log data to easy find spots to tune.
Note: Remember to always have the correct tune file opened in MTune when viewing log-files, it uses units and other data from the tune-file (which is not saved in the actual log-file).
