OEM CAN Buttons

Customize how OEM buttons will work on activated OEM CAN protocols.

OEM button function(s) is used if OEM FUNCTION is enabled and is hard coded into the firmware.

Note: Not enabled on all CAN OEM Protocols.

 

 

Currently enabled OEM CAN PROTOCOLS for OEM CAN Button feature

 

BMW E9x (MSS60)

ESP button.

AC Request button.

Cruise control buttons.

 

Corvette C6 (GM E38 ECM)

Traction button.

AC Request button.

Cruise control buttons.

Note: The Cruise must be set to ON to be able to get data from the SET and ACC button on the Corvette.

 

BMW E46 330i (MS 42/43)

ESP button.

AC Request button.

 

Porsche 996 2001 (ME 7.8)

ESP button.

AC Request button.

Cruise control buttons.

 

Ford Mustang 2011 - 2014

In the above example for the Corvette C6 (GM E38 ECM) OEM CAN protocol, AC request and traction button has OEM functionality.

In the above example for the BMW E46 330i (MS 42/43) OEM CAN protocol, AC request button is used to trigger the anti-lag function and the ESP button is used to set the boost table 2 for boost control.
