Front/Rear Left/Right speed sensor
Teeth count
The amount of teeth's on wheel speed sensor per revolution.
Update rate
Update rate from the sensor, specifies how fast MaxxECU will sample the sensor.
primary gear reduction ratio
Reduction ratio from the engine to the input shaft sensor. Used on some bike transmissions. Normalizes the shaft speed to the engine speed to calculate the clutch slip correctly.
Filters
Averaging sample count
The amount of teeth's on wheel speed sensor per revolution.
smoothing alpha
Filtering between 0% and 99%. Set to between 85 and 95 if filtering is necessary.
max input frequency
Sets the highest input speed that's used. Any higher frequency signals are ignored. Used to prevent noise from some sensors. Set to 10000 if you don't have any noise problems.
Starting points: Wheel speed with 40 tooth wheel mounted trigger: 3000Hz, drive shaft sensor with 8 teeth: 1500Hz
How to calculate the input frequency from number of teeth's and the engine RPM.
