Outputs

 

GPO (LOW)

Switch to the ground (sinking) output for general-purpose use. Connect loads between the output and a switched +12V source. When the output is active, it switches to ground, activating the load. When off, the output is floating.

Max continuous load 3A. Internal overload and short circuit protection. Internal over voltage protection (flyback voltage) 30V.

 

Injector (peak/hold)

Switch to ground (sinking) output specialized for driving injectors. Can also drive general-purpose loads.

Connect loads between the output and a switched +12V source.

When the output is active, it switches to ground, activating the load. When off, the output is floating.

The maximum peak current is 10A, and the max continuous load is 5A. Peak and hold currents are selectable when used to drive injectors.

Internal over voltage protection (flyback voltage) 30V. When driving injectors the flyback voltage is automatically regulated to ensure fast and precise injector control.

 

Ignition

5 or 12V low current Push-pull, OR switch to ground output. The function and voltage are selected in MTune.

Used to drive EXTERNAL ignition modules/smart coils, or other general-purpose outputs.

In push-pull mode, 5 or 12V is output when the output is active and switches to ground when not active. The current is internally limited to about 100mA.

In Switch to ground mode, the output is switched to ground when active, floating when off. The current is internally limited to about 1A.

Internal over voltage protection (flyback voltage) 30V.

 

H-bridge

12V push-pull output (half-bridge) for driving motors or general-purpose loads.

Output 12V when active, and switches to ground when not active.

For bidirectional motor control (like throttles) connect the loads between 2 H-bridge outputs. For general-purpose loads connect the loads between the output and ground.

Internal peak current PWM-limiting, overload, and short circuit protection.

Max current (PWM current): 7.5-15A (selectable in MTune), Continuous current: 8A

 

12V GPO

12V driving (sourcing) output for general-purpose loads.

Outputs 12V when active.When off, the output is floating.

Max continuous load 5A. Internal overload and short circuit protection. Internal over voltage protection (flyback voltage) -30V.

Note: When driving more than 10A combined with 12V driving outputs both ECU Supply 1 and ECU Supply 2 must be used. The total max output current is 30A to avoid overheating wiring and connectors.

 

 

Inputs

 

AIN

0-5V or digital input signal. Max 24V. Digital input threshold is 3V. Selectable 2.5kohm 5V pullup resistor.

2kHz update rate for AIN. 200kohm input resistance.

Switches/buttons and other slow signals in digital mode.

Note: Ethanol sensor, BSD, SENT or similar, cannot be used on these inputs, see below PULSE inputs for such inputs.

 

Digital/VR (PULSE)

Digital or VR signal input. Max 200V, 25kHz.

Internally grounded or floating, selectable in MTune.

62kohm input resistance.

Note: Floating is only used when used as a piggyback solution sharing trigger/ABS sensors.
