BMW GEN1 DCT ERROR CODES (TCU)
Use BMW INPA diagnostic tool, autocom or similar diagnostic tool to read out error codes. Make sure your tool supports the DCT gearbox.
Note: The above error codes is not a complete list of error codes, just the one we have faced during the development of the DCT CAN protocol. https://bmwfault.codes/ is a better source for translating BMW error codes.
 1. Press "Fehler" button.
 2. Press "FS lesen".
 3. A list of error codes will be displayed. By pressing F2 "FS Löschen" the stored error codes will be deleted.
 4. By pressing F2 "FS Löschen" the stored error codes will be deleted. |
Use any OBD diagnostic tool to read and erase the BMW M4 (GEN2) TCU, even the xHP app can read and erase the TCU error codes.
 Press diagnostics in the xHP app (when connected).
 Press read fault codes and await.
