NOTE: PDM20 uses the 0x50 CAN message ID for communication, which might be available on some Audi (equipped with airbag modules), do NOT use on the same bus!
•All four individual wheels speed from stock ABS into MaxxECU traction system.
•AC button.
•ESP button.
•Cruise control buttons.
•All input button can be custom defined by using the OEM CAN Buttons.
•Oil temp (0x51A) from instrument cluster (if available) into MaxxECU oil temp, found on some 4F vehicles.
•Instrument cluster (speed, tacho, CEL, odometer etc) working.
•MaxxECU oil temp to dash.
•SPORT indication, when available in dash, triggered using the digital input function Chassis SPORT mode.
•Stock ESP button can be used to activate/deactivate MaxxECU built in traction system, uses stock light on dash for confirmation.
•ABS is working.
•Haldex AWD is working if stock vehicle CAN is present.
•VCDS diagnostics with ECU is disabled.
•Fuel consumption in instrument cluster.
•Cruise control indication in dash.
•Output RPM changed from ENGINE RPM to TACHO RPM, to be used with the Tachometer output value presentation function as an option. (disabled if any DSG control is activated, to prevent TCU error).
•PQ35/36 (S3 8P), oil pressure warning added. If an external oil pressure sensor is enabled, it uses the pressure to light up the warning above 1500rpm and below 200kPa (if no oil pressure sensor channel is setup, it just turns the light off all the time).
•Boost gauge now working.
•SPORT indication in dash can now be triggered using the new digital input function Chassis SPORT mode.
•Wheel speed correction function, oil temp to dash added in .
•Initial support.
This CAN protocol has been tested with an Audi S3 8P 2010 MED 9.1.
Green (light): Working.
Green (dark): Working (but not controlled by CAN).
Blue: Not ECU controlled.
Orange: Partly controlled by MaxxECU.
Yellow: Turned off.
Boost gauge is also working, calibrated in the range of 0-3bar, using MaxxECU MAP as source.
SPORT indication, when available in dash, triggered using the digital input function Chassis SPORT mode.
When we calibrate the wheel speeds from an OEM vehicle (to make an OEM CAN Protocol), we always use the stock wheel sizes, so to get correct wheel speeds within MaxxECU, you must calibrate your wheel dimensions, since they are used to show you the correct speed in MaxxECU.
