Intake Air Temperataure sensor (IAT)

IAT sensor type

Specifies the IAT type used.

IAT fail-safe/failure detection

Enable or disable the error detection/failure detection on IAT sensor.

Disabled - No fail-safe or failure detection (don't use this option unless you know what you are doing).

Enabled, default values - If the system detects an error, the default value of 30deg C is used and an error code i thrown.

Enabled, custom thresholds - Define your own threshold error detection values, and the actual output value when an error is detected.

IAT OFFSET

Some sensors require a voltage offset. This may be due to atmospheric changes or unforeseen external changes.

Error below voltage

Specifies the below voltage to trigger error detection.

Error above voltage

Specifies the above voltage to trigger error detection.

fail-safe output value

Specifies the actual output value when an error is detected.

clip0482

No IAT temperature sensor selected, IAT is always 30deg C which is used by the VE model to calculate fuel.

Coolant temperature sensor (CLT)

CLT sensor type

Specifies the CLT type used.

CLT fail-safe/failure detection

Enable or disable the error detection/failure detection on CLT sensor.

CLT OFFSET

Some sensors require a voltage offset. This may be due to atmospheric changes or unforeseen external changes.

Error below voltage

Specifies the below voltage to trigger error detection.

Error above voltage

Specifies the above voltage to trigger error detection.

fail-safe output value

Specifies the actual output value when an error is detected.

Throttle position sensor (TPS)

TPS sensor used

Use input as TPS sensor for mechanical throttle - Wire the TPS signal to this input if using a mechanical throttle body.

Use input as other 0-5V function - When using E-Throttle, this input can be used as any other 0-5V input (even pedal/throttle position inputs), see example below.

TPS closed voltage

Calibrates throttle position sensor in fully closed position.

Must always be calibrated when throttle position is adjusted!

Release throttle and press "Get current voltage" to calibrate sensor.

TPS open voltage

Calibrates throttle position sensor in fully open position.

Must always be calibrated when throttle position is adjusted!

Release throttle and press "Get current voltage" to calibrate sensor.

TPS failure detection

Enable or disable the error detection/failure detection on TPS sensor.

Examples

Use the TPS input wire as other 0-5V function (when using E-Throttle)

clip0420

clip0421

When TPS sensor used = use input as other 0-5V function, a new settingspanel is visible in MTune, Inputs --> AIN on TPS input.

Here you can select what type of sensor is used on the TPS analog input wire.

Use an EGT type-K input as IAT

clip1237

To use an EGT input as a IAT sensor, set type to ON EGT sensor input, and select the wired input.
