Throttle position sensor open or shorted.
Note: Does not applies to E-Throttle vehicles.
Most common issues and how to fix them
1. Check the wiring
Check wiring. All TPS sensors are three wired, one pin to Sensor GND, the second to +5v power supply and the third to TPS (CMC1: G2) analog input of MaxxECU.
2. Make sure sensor is wired to Sensor GND, and not engine ground.
3. Check analog inputs (raw voltage)
Without no sensor connected, the TPS input voltage should be ~0v.
