MaxxECU DCT cable harness for the correct gearbox:
BMW M3 (GEN1) DCT harness, product ID 2015.
BMW M4 (GEN2) DCT harness, product ID 2254.
Note: We only support our cable harness, nothing prevents you from creating your own, but then you are on your own.
The actual BMW DCT gearbox...see DCT hardware identifier.
Note: If your intention is to pass more than 850-900Nm through this gearbox, read our DCT hardware upgrade.

Note: if using an M4 gearbox, the OE M4 shifter must be used, unless using the DCT shifter emulation.
The BMW drivelogic button, optional for GEN1.
The OE shifter (GEN1/GEN2) and drivelogic button (GEN1) is optional, instead the DCT shifter emulation can be used to emulate the shifter and use digital inputs to control the gearbox.
Note: We do not support the OE BMW paddles.
Paddle shifters from example Mercedes, part number A 171 267 00 46. Or any other paddle shifters (or buttons on the steering wheel) that "closes" the circuit when pressed.
Note on GEN1: Using the DCT shifter emulation, paddle input in harness does not need to be used, use the digital inputs DCT UP shift and DCT DOWN shift instead.

Note: any E9x DCT gearbox will most likely work, with their respective gear selector and buttons, but we will only support the E9x M3 version with our DCT harness for now.
Make sure the TCU firmware is correct for the connected accessories (shifter, buttons etc).

Note on GEN1 DCT Harness: The above 2-pin connectors is not used in our harness, our intention was to use the park feature on the gearbox, but we disabled its usage and you must instead use a park disabling mechanism.
